Stemmons Freeway, Dallas TX Pricing: Contractor/Industry Members: Complimentary; Subscriber Members: $30.00; Non Members: $75.00 On July 28th, The U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration issued a new rule addressing the use of cranes and derricks in construction. This new ruling replaces a decades-old standard and affects approximately 267,000 construction crane rental and crane certification establishments employing about 4.8 million workers.
Our facilitator will be Sam Rogers, Corporate Senior Crane Safety Coordinator for Zachary Industrial, Inc. Sam has been in the construction industry for 32 years, mostly in steel/rigging/crane work. He moved into the Zachry Corporate office in 2001, primarily to travel around training and testing crane operators and riggers. In 2004, he was put in charge of Zachry’s operator qualification/certification program.
