As the battle for exceptional talent increases, TEXO is tackling the issue head on with a program that taps into a much underrepresented demographic in our industry – women in construction leadership. Research has shown that companies with a critical mass of executive gender diversity enjoy significantly better financial performance. In fact, McKinsey & Company, a global management consultant, has proven that for every 10% increase in gender diversity in the senior management team, the company’s EBIT rose 3.5%.
TEXO’s Women’s Executive Leadership program is a nine month program designed for high potential women to equip them with skills to better navigate the business landscape, as well as develop and leverage their talents to prepare them to step into roles of greater influence. Each workshop over the 9-month course will be broken down into three sections, each section being three months long. Each workshop will be interactive and will contain individual or group exercises, take a way for each participate to utilize immediately and a "Jam Session" where each participate will be able to openly and safely discuss professional matters of their choice and receive peer feedback
Cost for this program is certainly value added as compared to Stanford, Harvard or FMI with similar content at $5500.00 per attendee. This includes all assessments, executive coaching, Books, class attendance and meals for 9 sessions. No travel or hotel required if you live in the DFW area!
Listed below is the suggested criteria for a qualified candidate:
- Minimum of 8-10 years in the business arena
- Recognized as a high potential in their organization
- Should have supervisory experience with either direct reports or leading a team.
- Responsible for an operating statement or solid knowledge of business financials.
Nominations are due no later than September 6, 2019. There is a limited number of participants for this session. Please nominate early!
